Let me tell you a little about myself...I am Shannon Baird and yep, your child may call me Shannon if they are comfortable with that. This is my tenth year in teaching and I love my job! I graduated from Monmouth University with a degree in English and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I chose to become a teacher because helping children learn is something that brings me an incredible amount of pride and joy. I feel very lucky to be a teacher, especially here in beautiful Shelburne, VT!
So, what can you look forward to as a member of the Believe team? Well, for starters, we have a lot of fun! Laughing is a daily requirement and we try to make each learning opportunity an enjoyable and exciting experience. We will work really hard during our math and literacy blocks. You'll get your hands "dirty" during our Ecosystem and Rocks & Minerals units, and you will be creating some fascinating art projects while learning about Native American and Shelburne history. Also, you'll be learning the methods of cursive handwriting too!
